ABOUT ME

I am a licensed mental health counselor, a nationally certified counselor, a nationally certified clinical hypnotherapist, and an RID certified interpreter specializing in individual, couples and family therapy.

I have over 15 years experience as a psychotherapist  and am a graduate of the University of New Mexico specializing in Experiential Counseling and Deaf Culture.  I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are military issues, women's issues, grief and trauma issues.

In addition to being a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, I have taught at several community colleges, presented at conferences, and conducted local workshops speaking on a variety of topics including anxiety and depression, ethics and professional conduct, suicide risk and prevention, Deaf culture, and the chakra system.  

I am an interactive therapist providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.  With compassion and respect, I work with each individuals to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
